In late 2016, two seemingly random people, cough cough, us, Kim Sutton and Chris Wirth, crossed paths in a Facebook group. As far as we knew, we had never met before and were each just one of tens of thousands of participants of the group. A “Virtual Coffee” call quickly changed that. In the course of one call, we learned we had worked in the same VERY small office building at the same time in 2004, and had likely crossed paths many times before. After sharing our current projects and dreams we realized they were wildly similar, and by the end of the call we decided to work together as accountability partners to help each others’ dreams become reality. Our weekly accountability calls reminded us that two brains are better than one, and provided the realization that by combining our similar projects into a singular brand we would have the ability to help far more people than by each going at it alone. With complimentary but wildly different strengths, we knew we had the potential to make something GREAT. The i3 Initiative was born.
